From a very tender age Anne has been immersed in the Celtic airs of Ireland and Scotland and other classical singing styles.

 

This gave Anne Geraghty a love of song and a longing for the soul in music . Since the age of sixteen she has been training in opera and various classical  genres, taking part in several lyrical theaters and opera productions.

 

Later on she branched into more contemporary genres(classical-crossover, pop, jazz, folk and country) in which she competed and won several awards.

 

Anne's range allows her to sing with similar ease in all styles mentioned above. Through her melodious voice, powerful yet sometimes gentle and always genuine, she wishes to share with music lovers everywhere the soul of music that  touches the heart of all and remains timeless.

 

She is currently a cantor-soloist at St Patrick's Basilica  (Ottawa) as well as recording her EP album , covering favorite songs of the past.
